About

Since it seems everyone is into productivity/life hacking/30 day experiments these days, what with David Allen and GTD, Tim Ferriss and the 4-hour Workweek, Leo Babauta and Zen Habits, Lifehacker, Steve Pavlina, Tynan, Morgan Spurlock, etc, I thought I, Eoin Morgan, would jump on the bandwagon.

Now, I know what you are thinking, another guy (are they all guys?) who is going to tell me how to live my life. Well, think again.

I have always been interested in this sort of thing so a few years I started a series of 30 day/hour experiments. And I took notes.

I will be posting those notes as well as doing some more (lots hopefully, but I am pretty lazy) 30 day/hour experiments using different methods of productivity, life hacking, etc. This will include the standard issue polyphasic sleep, checking email only once a day or less, low carb diets, positive thinking (I’m Good Enough, I’m Smart Enough, and Doggone It, People Like Me!) and all the other things out there.

But it will be done from a normal person standpoint. Normal, meaning you have a mortgage, kids, maybe even grandkids, full time jobs, car pools to drive, a spouse, yard work and house chores to do, babies to feed, etc.

I think the best way will be for me to post a short daily update, a longer weekly update and then a nice summary one at the end. The summary will summarize (clever, eh?) everything and explain if the experiment worked or not and tips for doing it yourself. The experiments done before this site will exclude the daily updates.

I will also review other blogs and how their ideas work or don’t work for the regular person.

Who am I? I have no idea, maybe I will find out. This site will probably have some foul language every now and then. And no, I don’t play cricket. Contact me at eoin at this domain.
